Mod allows you to rename owned castles, towns and settlements. How to use: Enter into a settlement and search for "Rename settlement" on the left menu. Mod doesn't change any original save data, so uninstalling it will return all names back to original and theoretically shouldn't break any saves.
Hey guys, so I know the Settlement Rename mod hasn’t been updated in a while, but I found a method within the game’s files that allows you to rename any settlement (towns, villages, castles). You just have to open the file ‘settlements.xml’ in the game’s directory, hit ctrl+h, and replace all mentions of the settlement you’re trying
Added Towns/villages producing item. Towns with smithy will show up for all melee weapons. Likewise for ranged weapons and armor. This mod adds another category in the encyclopedia for items. To access you can right click an item in inventory, use the search box or press the Item tab in the encyclopedia.

A: is the "send messenger" to talk to a lord or clan member from a distance after travel time feature base, because if it is then it's even more ridiculous we can't do something similar for towns. And, B: SERIOUSLY why doesn't this exist. Improved Garrisons apparently does this and much more.
I've been supporting the Empire independently(not a vassal) throughout my playthrough. Now I need to own an Imperial settlement for the Dragon Banner quest; looking to start my own faction. How do I get an imperial settlement without joining an Imperial faction, which goes against the whole idea of starting my own faction, or going to war with the Empire, which doesn't make any sense as I'm
