The "wet belt" ecoboost had 12,500 mile/12 month intervals, so if the engine on a Mk 7.5 has been replaced "like for like" that should apply. Ford decided to increase this to 18,000/18 months when the Mk 8 came out, even though it was the same engine until the chain cam MHEV was phased in in 2020, and even then the 100 remained "wet belt".

Ty. on reflection think I might just do an oil/filter change at 1,3,5yrs together with 2 yr ford service as I plan to keep the car.. ty for all replies.

Hi all, Apologies in advance for what is likely going to be a lengthy post! I’ve been searching through various forums for months now hoping to find an answer to the problem I’ve been having with my 2012 Focus 1.0 Ecoboost 125.
Over the past couple of days I've received 6 phone calls from my local dealer trying to convince me that my soon to be 1 year old Focus mk4 (1.0 eco boost with just short of 8,000 miles on the clock) is due a service. Each time, I've replied that the published service intervals are 2 years/18,000
